I’m not located in the US so the options for secondhand gear is limited. I had actually searched through Reverb for secondhand sensors and nothing came up because no one marked my country as a shipping destination.
What about using 1/4 inch jacks? Going through the documentation EVANS Sensory Percussion Portal | Sensory Percussion 2 Help the XLR connection will supply 48v phantom power (which seems to be too much) but 1/4 inch jacks do not supply power in the same way.
Apologies if I am asking basic questions but I wanted to confirm one-way or the other since I couldn’t find it mentioned explicitly anywhere.
My current setup is a basic 5 piece acoustic kit with 4 cymbals. I don’t have any existing triggers. The idea was to use sunhouse sensors to convert the kit to an electronic drum set. While the pre-orders for the cymbal sensors are still open, I am trying to see if I can somehow use V2 sensors for all 9 inputs.
