A new beta for you all to try: 2.7.1-beta1.

This is a performance and stability release: lower CPU usage throughout the signal path, tighter MIDI and OSC timing, and a batch of crash and workflow fixes.

Open the beta app to update or head to https://sunhou.se/downloads/beta to grab the installer.

- Tighter MIDI timing: MIDI input and hardware MIDI output no longer block the audio drivers
- Lower-latency OSC network forwarding
- Improved audio-thread stability during stops, chokes, and analog output

Fixed

- Monitor volume now defaults to -12 dB, matching the on-screen knob
- Convolution reverb no longer briefly drops to dry signal while loading an impulse response
- Fixed a crash when opening the assignment callout with no session open
- The assignment callout now closes when the control it points at disappears
- The sidechain listen control can no longer be assigned
- Audio device changes are detected again on ASIO
- After collecting a session, the session slot now points at the collected .sp2 file
- Fixed license activation failures after a machine ID change

Hey all, we just pushed out 2.7.1-beta3 with some new fixes. In addition to what’s listed above:

Fixed
=============================================
- Fixed saving stale param values to module presets [beta2]
- Macros now re-initialize after a preset is applied [beta2]
- Resetting training data now clears the trained model, so an old model can't come back after a reset [beta2]
- Expanding an instrument in the library now lists only its presets [beta2]
- Right-clicking a library folder tab now selects it first, so delete applies to the folder you clicked [beta2]
- Collect-and-save now reports an error and stops instead of silently continuing when it fails [beta2]
- The multiband EQ curve now displays even when the audio engine is off [beta3]
