Hey all, we have a new beta for you: 2.8.0-beta19. Here’s what’s changed since beta16. Please continue to send us your feedback!
NEW
- The MIDI router has a new sync switch that passes MIDI clock from its input to its output. It’s off by default
CHANGED
- On Windows, Portals are now listed by their driver name, and a unit that isn’t plugged in is grayed out instead of opened
- On Windows, every connected Portal’s link light now stays solid while a Portal is open. On Mac, the sensor expansion’s light still pulses
FIXES
- Right-click menus opened with a trackpad or Magic Mouse no longer vanish right away or fail to appear, especially on controls near the right side of the window
- Right-clicking a number box or the Sampler waveform no longer changes its value or adds an undo step, and a fast double right-click no longer resets a knob or volume slider to its default
- Fixed the app hanging at startup on Windows when the sensor expansion was set to a Portal that wasn’t plugged in
- Fixed Portal channel settings not being saved on Windows, and the main interface sometimes opening the wrong unit
- Fixed the hardware panel’s record controls sometimes missing after launch

@Arek_z_rodu_Kulesza please give beta19 a try. It should fix the issues you were having with two portals on Windows. Thanks!

hi-hat tension and pedal control has dramatically improved. Thanks for working on that.
