Ableton 9 "cant find Audio Streamer"

Hey,

Just set up my SP and i’m now trying to record straight into Ableton 9.7.7. I have downloaded audio streamer multiple times and rescanned but ableton won’t find it. Whenever I try to set up a custom folder I see it in the local VST folder with the rest of the plugin’s i already have, but not in the actual daw’s vst section.

I would really appreciate the help.

Hi!

Ableton 9.7.7 is the last version of Ableton that is 32-bit. The audio streamer is 64-bit, so it is not able to load within DAWs that aren’t 64-bit. Here’s a pretty good FAQ on 64-bit vs 32-bit from Ableton. And here is our help page for the audio streamer.

cant find the audio streamer on AB live 10… i do find sensory percussion though am i missing somting?

Hi,

For your custom VST folder, can you try this location instead?:

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins

I think Ableton should be able to find the streamer plugin there.
