I have a question regarding sensor training for my acoustic floor tom. I have my 14” floor tom setup right next to my bass drum. Sometimes when I hit the floor tom rim and bass drum at the same time the sound that is mapped to the rim of the floor tom doesn’t trigger (I’m fairly consistent with the strokes, so that I think isn’t an issue). It feels like the bass drum is choking the floor tom rim sound but I can’t find any choking assignment at all.
I’m using a heavily modified Tone-Color Melody preset.
Am I training the floor tom maybe in a wrong way so it doesn’t recognize rim hit when it’s used with bass drum? Without bass drum playing at the same time everything works.
