Acrylic shell head thoughts

Hi guys,

I am considering an acrylic shell design kit in clear or a black and was wondering if the Silent Stroke heads are clear or semi clear? Especially the BD head. What do you think would look and perform the best for a clear kit with mesh heads and which head might be the way to go? The top snare head really wont matter and I suppose I don’t even need a bottom head except for the Kick. Was thinking all clear or a dark smoke or black kit with black heads if none are transparent that work well.

Sounds cool! The Remo SilentStrokes are white. I don’t think they make clear ones. The Evans dBZero heads are black. You can see through them a bit because they’re mesh, but they’re definitely not clear.
