Bass Drum Hardware For Separate Sample Problem

Hi, I’m fairly new to this. When I assign a sample to the bass drum hardware I have the following 2 problems.

  1. The volume is much lower when the triggered by striking the hardware than played from the sampler.
  2. I’m unable to trigger a regular bass drum sample (on the pad) and a hardware sample at the same time.
    Hopefully some one can help me out with this.
