I am right-handed, but play both right-handed and left-handed equally. My setup is right-handed. I have a question about the best placement on 12” pancake toms (I use these for custom pads) I typically have them on the top left of the drum head for the first tom. Centered on the two middle and to the top right for the 4th tom. I am wondering if this is best when using the sensors for multiple zones. Does it matter since the drums are “trained” by me?. I thus far have never hit a sensor, but I do worry about durability and placement in that regard too.
