Hey,
Loving the SP system and built-in sounds. Out of curiosity, would it be possible to play the latest release from Teletone (Hype) through Sensory Percussion? I’ve previously experimented with sample libraries mapped to kits in the SP software, but what I’m specifically trying to achieve is a sort of real-time MIDI control of a standalone plugin. Is this at all possible, and can it be done in real time without extreme latency?

Hi @skagga,
You can definitely send MIDI to external software like Teletone Hype: either over a virtual bus or, if you have Ableton, between the Sensory Percussion 2 Ableton plugin and another plugin.
If you’re just sending MIDI out of Sensory in standalone, you can set your buffer size very low: 32 samples on most systems, so the latency response on Sensory’s side of things will be quite low. The CPU load/latency response of the other software depends, of course.
It looks like you can find the MIDI mapping section of Hype by watching this video (at around 28 minutes).
Great, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
