Core Sounds sessions not integrated with Global Mix?

I tried to add some items to the Global Set of the Electro Melodic core sounds session.

Basically just a microphone analog input and a metronome to overlay all the individual pre-made sets.

Now there is no sound.

I can see signal on the individual sets within the session, but none of it is passing thru to the Global layer to hit the main mix.

They are all listed as subsets to the Global, but no signal is passing thru.

I tried Undoing session, but it saved with the current configuration of no sound.

I’m exploring the Mix tab, trying to find anything muted or that needs activated, but all the faders are grey.

Am I missing something?

Computer restart seems to have reset a few things, and I have been able to add global items thru the Play layer view without the sound issues.

Secondary question though….Why are the Core Sound sessions not regular session files? I have to save a whole new Session if I want to Edit them in any way (add Global Items).

Seems redundant for memory purposes.
