Hi all, wondering if there are any cool ways to make a “snake” for the sensor cables beyond simply bundling them together with velcro? Current slowest part of moving the setup is getting the cabling back together.
What I’m doing is using a wire loom cable sleeve wrap I got on Amazon and some cable labels to number each one to its respective trigger/port inputs, works just lovely! I’m about to redo it with color write-on tabs and add the cables for the cymbals now that I’ve got that up and running. I might upgrade to a slightly larger sleeve wrap too, and I preferred a white loom just so it’s easier to see in lower light conditions. As you can see I did end up using a couple Velcro straps at either end just to have a flexible method of gathering either end. Hope this helps! HNH
I did the same sort of thing, went with black. Did the Velcro too, so awesome! I seemed to get some vibration transferring so I have now wrapped each individual cord from the head to the portal with a mesh, and it seems to help shield each instrument from those odd misfires. (pictured below) I am now going to go in and see about training the misfires to be ignored, only the furthest left Tom on a right handed setup still triggers. Did you get any interference laying cables next to each other?
Thanks for the replies, this looks like the way to go. I’ve had my cables bunched together with Velcro and can’t say that has caused any false triggering issues. That is with the full 7 sensor set up.

Agree. Loom is the way to go. Tip: Put the loom on the first time while the kit is set up. You can get the length right and even set up to “branches” for each side if desired.
Peace!
