I have been trying to use the vast Ableton sample library to create some custom sounds in SP2. When I attempt to drag a .aif sample from the Ableton library, or from file explorer directly, a sample module is created, but the sample is always missing.
Is there no support for .aif? or am I missing something?

I think Ableton has a form of encryption on some of their sample library for DRM. I haven’t been able to find much information online about it, aside from the odd forum post, but we’ve had a user ask about it in the past and I tested it at that time.
Ok, so it didn’t take long, but I discovered that you can bypass the encryption by using custom folders instead of the built in Ableton categories.
If you load the folder locations manually into the browser, you can drag and drop the samples successfully!
