Wondering if anyone has used drum dial with mesh heads specifically for SP? If so, any recommendations for pressure settings? I am getting some double triggers which are likely from the heads (Evans db Zero - single ply mesh) being too loose, but before randomly tweaking I thought I’d see if anyone has any experience or recommendations here. If so, LMK! If not, I’ll report back what I find.

I think for mesh heads the exact tuning isn’t as important for the SP system. But tight heads do work better - so we recommend to tighten those lugs and make sure you don’t have any ratting hardware on your drum. Try tightening your head and let me know if that helps with double triggers. If not, there might be something else going on that we can help figure out.

Just wanted to ask if you’ve tried adjusting the sensitivity slider? Lowering the sensitivity can really help avoid double hits on looser heads. As Tenoch said, the tighter the head the better in terms of detection, but you should definitely be able to get rid of double hits on mesh heads without having to crank them too tight.
