Evans db1 or db0 heads?

I bought a Tama jazz club pancake, to save space. Now I need to purchase mesh heads to go along with the sensory percussion sensors.

Any thought on Evans DB One or DB Zero, which works better?

Or other recommended brands?

P.S SP team, sell shells with heads to complete the kit! I’d prefer to buy a kit that you already know would work great

Depends on how quiet you need your kit to be. Some people like the feel of db one over db zero, it’s a little closer to a traditional head. It also has some resonance, which is nice.

But if you go with db Ones, we recommend you only use the kick and tom variants (even for your snare). The db one snare has a two-ply vibrating ribbon thing to mimic a snare and it can mess with the algo, causing some false hits.
