in a few images, I’ve seen what it looks to appears to be something to hold the cable out of the way of the cymbal. Is that included or what the heck is that thing?
Yep, it comes in the box. For the cymbal, the sensor is mounted underneath. But for the hi-hat, the sensor is on top so there’s a gooseneck arm to keep the cable clear of the hi-hat.
We looked into options to get the cable to go through the middle and it just wasn’t technically feasible. Especially if we want to support other hi-hats besides the Evans db Ones.
