Im having a really hard time navigating the software. The few videos on YouTube are old and have a different layout and it’s hard to follow. Are there any better resources out there? like a step by step start up guide?
I started using this over 2 years ago, and I would have to say it was also challenging to get going. When I had my guitar playing brother sit down on the controls and start dialing it in while I played, we had more success. The amazing things that draw us to this product are also the things that can be very frustrating. It has so much more levels of control than any other e-drum styled drum emitter. I think that the basic video touches on things that are still valuable. Training and retraining to the recommended levels and not overtraining each sensor can never be overstated. I truly feel that this operates like a prototype drum set, one that needs to be curated or setup by a sound designer. Be definitive about wearing each hat respectively. When I am setting sounds; I am not drumming. The amount of time I have setting up the drum kits is never going to be enough, but I get it closer each session. How far have you got in setting this up?
