Hi, I am new here and busy trying to get a grip on the software. I tried to install soundpacks on an external harddisk and via the general preferences pointed to that folder. I did that for the user and the standard sound pack folder. Installation works but the sound packs are not visible in the library. THe soundpack button was even greyed out…
What’s going wrong?
In the manual onder installing soundpacks its says there are 2 ways of installing soundpacks and then just 1 is explained… HELP?!

I’m not sure what might be happening, so if you could write an email to support@sunhou.se and include a diagnostic report that would most likely make finding a solution easier. In this case, when you run the diagnostic report, no need to do the step where it records sensor audio, but make sure you check all of the boxes. Also, in the email let us know what kind of hard drive you are plugging in.
I just retested this feature on my Macbook Pro and on a laptop that runs Windows and I didn’t find any issues with installing or opening sound packs to an external hard drive - but there could be things specific to your machine or hard drive or even the cable connecting your hard drive to the computer that might cause an issue like this.
