I have been trying to use the sensors within Ableton Live 11 with some M4L devices which require to detect a good audio signal, but the audio signal from the SP1 sensors is extremely low unless I pop the gain level of the audio interface all the way up. Is that normal and can I do anything to fix that?
Hi @Roito - are you using the sensors in Ableton without the SPv1 software at all? The signal from the sensors is tuned for the SP software algorithms so it might not be that great for other use cases.
Unless there is some kind of attachment issue, which can also affect the signal level, your only option is to boost the gain on your interface.
