Heya everyone, I use a lot of tempo changes in my playing style. I strongly dislike playing to a click, but want to play live with other musicians who use loops in Ableton. I was listening to Why We Bleep podcast with James Blake. At 1:08 in he talks about using the Mutable Instruments Yarns MIDI controller to sync his live drummer in concerts to his Eurorack synth, so I know it’s possible. I’ve found very little online that gives details of the integration.
If anyone has clues on how to put this puzzle together, please do let me know. I’ll be seeing him live on the 12th at the Greek in LA. Can anyone get me backstage?
