Dear all,
I have a question regarding the behavior of Note Controller and multiple samplers like it’s shown on the picture.
All the samplers have the same sample with the same note C, one with transpose 0, second one with transpose +3, and third one with transpose +7, so basically it’s a C minor chord arpeggio.
The note controller is selected for notes Eb and Bb, what does that mean in relation to the pitches in the controler after?
That if I hit the drum and for example the note Bb is played by the Note Controller that each of the samples will go higher in pitch for the amount of semitones that Bb represents in relation to the selected root in the module (here it’s Eb as a root, so that means 7 semitones higher) or it is in relation of the note C regardless of selected root, so it will go higher for 10 semitones?
If it’s first option does that means that sampler one will play 0 + 7 semitones up, so 7 semitones, second one 3 + 7, so 10 semitones, and third one 7 + 7, so 14 semitones?
Sorry for entry level question, I was looking for a tutorial for this but I can’t find any ![]()
All the best ![]()
