Portal recording

Hello,

I’ve been trying to set up my portal so that I can record via the standalone Sensory Percussion 2 app into Bitwig.

I’ve been going back and forth with ChatGPT and it seems to think that I’ll need a dedicated audio interface as well as the portal to record into Bitwig.

I’m using an old Big Sur MacBook and the 8 Track version of Bitwig (I’ve tried to demo of the full version too.) I see input from the sensors and see and hear the audio within the SP2 app but can’t work out how to get that audio into Bitwig.

Please advise!

If you have a Mac, Loopback will do this internally without a second interface. Create a chain routing the audio from SP2 standalone and choose Loopback or an aggregate device in Bitwig as the input. Create an audio channel with the Loopback source. Boom
