Hey guys. Alan VanKleef of VK drums in the UK who does some super high end cast snares and custom metal kits is making drums now. They’re made of stainless steel. 3in deep. Sunhouse sensors fit them perfectly but you can also use the built in piezo. Check them out if you’ve been looking for options.

In contrary, I bought a pancake drum kit, I fitted it with a mesh db1.
Works like a charm.

Pancakes work for sure. I consider this pancake style minus everything not being collapsible.
