I’m trying to learn how to effectively train my drums, but the biggest problem I run into is whenever I hit the center it registers as the rim shoulder or tip. I can never get it accurate enough where every time I hit the supposed surface either it doesn’t come out or another sound goes instead. Any tips, or is this a part of the learning curve?
Hi @Alejandro_Salazar !
There is a bit of a curve when learning how to effectively train your drums in Sensory Percussion. We published an article of training best practices here.
If the tips in the article don’t solve the misfiring issues you are having, then please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or start a chat with us on our website. Be sure to include a diagnostic reportwith your email/chat message (and be sure to play the drums musically on the head and rims while the report is collecting).
