Recording in Sensory 2

Can anyone help me with routing submixes for recording in Sensory Percussion 2? Until today, I had each instrument and audio insert assigned an individual output, but now they’ve disappeared. I’ve tried adding submixes again, but there’s no way. Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks

Hi @Jesus_Gallardo - can you let me know if this video helps at all?

I can dive into more detail if needed. Thanks!

I have tried everything and the only sound coming out is the Main Mix.

Are you recording presets – or your own sets?

My Sets! But it happens to me with the factory settings. The LEDs don’t appear to light up in the recording menu.

to piggyback on this thread (I think I am having the same issue as @Jesus_Gallardo ), I am trying to record in Sensory Percussion using submixes as well, for example one submix with drum sounds, one with melodic sounds, and one with the mic inputs on the interface. This is a set I made from scratch, and the main mix sounds just fine in both headphones and recording, but the submixes do not seem to have any audio output regardless of what I do.
-I go to the mix view, and click “add submix” on Mix Out 1
-I add which layers I want from the “inactive layers” section
-Those added layers show volume/activity in the submix to the right of it, but the volume meter for the entire submix does not respond/show activity when I trigger that layer on the drums
-Likewise, when I arm these new submixes for recording, they output a totally silent file, but the “main mix” recording sounds as it should, with the entire mix on one file

in the video you posted @tenoch it shows various submixes being used in the preset Phantasma Keys, but loading that session (“Chord Sequences”) or the phantasma set by itself doesn’t show any submixes being used, so I cannot compare settings to them. Attempting to follow my steps above in the Phantasma Keys set results in the same problem, where the main mix is recorded correctly, but the sumbixes that I arm for recording result in silent files.

Sorry for the long message, just want to make sure I went through all the necessary steps and didn’t miss something. Thanks for any insight you can give

@EDub Thank s for you post.

Hey all – just following up here. It looks like in the last update 2.4.6 we introduced a bug that essentially broke submixes. Yikes. The release was meant as a hotfix to address an issue with slow sample auditioning in the library, so the release didn’t go through our full testing protocol and clearly we missed the submix issue. We’re sorry about that and are adjusting our release process to try to prevent this kind of thing in the future.

We just pushed out 2.4.7 yesterday that fixes submixes. Please give it a try and let me know if you run into any other issues. Thanks!!
