Hello, I wanted to ask if you have tried the sensors on the black hole practice heads/pads, will the sensor attach well to the pad’s rim?
I think for mobility reasons, would be an excellent choice.
Does anyone have tried this before?

I don’t think the RTOM Black Hole practice pads are compatible with Sensory Percussion. There are several reasons why they won’t work. First, you need to attach a pickup element (it’s a small steel disc) to the drum head and that’s what the sensor reads. The practice pads are too acoustically dead for the sensors to read. Also, I think the way the practice pads are so thick, it might prevent the sensor for attaching to the rim of the drum.
