Sample browser not correctly showing folders with periods

Not sure if this is a “bug” or a feature request, but bug seems most appropriate.

When browsing the Sound Library, specifically my own sound files/folders, Sensory Percussion does not display anything in a filename or folder name after and including a period ( . ) character. This makes browsing difficult as some collections of samples I have use the period a lot (in this image, all these folders should be called something like “01. Kick”, “02. Snare” etc.). I’m sure this has something to do with ignoring file extensions, but it is affecting ease of browsing.

I can right click to Reveal in File Explorer (this is windows 10) and see which folder I want from there, but that can be slow and cumbersome. Hopefully this can be remedied. Thank you!

Hi @EDub thanks for the report. Really helpful. I’ll check with the team about getting this fixed in an upcoming release!
