I used to trigger midi sequences, chords, and various blips and blurbs using my first electronic drum set (Yamaha tennis racquets) via midi to my keyboards. That was very fun but also very tedious! That was decades ago. I am so excited to start using these and continuing where I left off as a teenager.
I have custom electronic kits using DW design series shells with mesh heads, another with PDP mini timps, and finally, another that utilizes roto toms with mesh heads. Due to the sizes (10" and 12"), I suspect the design series will be best but I am unsure if the sensor will fit well on the rim. Does anyone have any experience with these?
