Small Bass Drum for SP

I’m trying to setup a 2 sensor setup next to my work desk. I am trying to find a small bass drum to use with SP. I thought of electronic bass drum triggers that use mesh, pancake bass drum, or convert a tom to a bass drum

Trying to find the cheapest method … any ideas?

Cruise through your local Craigslist for cheap drums, or perhaps try a local used shop for one-off shells. I found a mess of shells and hardware for $40, for instance. Then you can cut down the shells the the minimum depth required for mounting lugs/hardware. I painted them black and stickered them up…hideous, functional, dirt cheap.
