I’ve printed a stand sleeve for a 6 mm cymbal stand (Sonor). It matches the original in every dimension. All the other parts fit perfectly.

Just to clarify: this part is not a replacement for the original part with an 8 mm thread. I’ve made a replica, but with a 6 mm inner thread for older Sonor stands.

WOW. That’s great.
I’ve been faced with the same Problem. But I don’t have a 3D-Printer.
So ich cut off the Sonor cymbal-hold an replaced it with a ball-cymbal-hold form an cheap drum-tec 4-CB cymbal boom arm. The outer diameter of the holder fits exactly into the Sonor tubes.
