Sync effects in SP2 plug-in with Ableton tempo

Hi SP community,

I am new here and I would need an help on how to sync the efx inside SP2 plug-in with the BPM of my Ableton session. For example in a Delay efx, usually there’s the option to choose between ms or metrics (1/4, 1/8, etc). I looked everywhere I didn’t find it. Is this possible? or do I have to enable something in order to have the plug-in synced with any type of tempo shift in my Ableton session?

Thank you for your time and support.

Hi @lorenzosetti - this isn’t currently possible with Sensory. You can control the speed of delays in Sensory Percussion with various assignments – or connect them to a macro knob or slider. And you can control the position of that macro with MIDI from an external source like Ableton. But I don’t think that would really achieve what you’re looking for. It wouldn’t be locked in.

This is a feature we are thinking about and have on our list. At this time, SP doesn’t have a notion of a global tempo like a DAW does. You’re effectively the driver of the tempo. But we know that a lot of drummers want to have the option to play to a click or use external clocks to sync things.
