How tight should you tighten the mesh heads? Like acoustic heads?
I’ve noticed that, especially with the kick drum, there is sometimes a double strike when you hit the beater.
To help fix your issue try a 2" wide peace of felt on the inner front head of your bass drum.see if that wil help ya i had the same issue.
