Way to reuse pickup elements

Hey. Wanted to ask if maybe someone figured out a way to quickly add and remove sensor elements especially on house drum kits, for example in festivals or clubs, when swapping out the drum heads is just not an option. Maybe putting the sensors on piece of duct tape and just putting the tape on an existing drum head. Just seems a bit wasteful to put on new sensor elements on four drums and then just leave them after playing. Someone has any suggestions? Thanks!!!

p.s. I know that they are not so expensive, and it’s best to glue new sensors on new heads, just looking for options.

Funnily enough I was just about to make a little video with a hack for this and share it on socials… but I’ll post the tip here first: I stick my sensor magnets on to drum O-rings (like Evans E-Rings or Big Fat Snare Drum’s Donut XL rings) and then place those on the drum head. Then I don’t need to bother with little magnets stuck to different drum heads. The sensor itself holds the O-ring in place when clamped down firmly. Works great! You can even mark the O-ring with a sharpy or some tape to make sure the magnet is lined up correctly with the sensor.
