Are there plans to have sensory percussion sensors for symbols that are not artificial?
Hi @Dlevhend by “artificial” do you mean the low volume cymbals like the Evans db ones?
We do plan on supporting all cymbal types – other low volume cymbals from other brands, as well as regular acoustic cymbals. That will come with a free software update, so the physical sensor will stay the same. Thanks!
@tenoch couple questions on that…
-do you have a timeline for when other cymbals will be supported?
-will the release be to include any cymbal, or will it be more of a phased rollout like phase 1=zildjian l80’s, phase 2=sabian quiet tones, etc’?
yes, I was looking for the sensors that support acoustic symbols so if that’s what we’re talking about then please let me know when the updates are available. Thank you.
I just received my cymbal sensors and they are working pretty well straight out of the box with my acoustic cymbals as well as the low volume Evans ones.
