When I close The Hihat (pedal zone)
it randomly triggers the edge zone.
Is that normal, to keep the hihat sounding
real? Since we can’t train the hihat, what do I do?

I am experiencing something similar and would like to know if there’s a solution.
I think the physical mounting and hihat stand are important too, is your hihat spring tension to loose? Is your clutch tight enough? Is the tilter angle on the hihat not to sharp? And finally are you a heavy hitter? As much as we like, these are electronic sensors after all so don’t bash them like they are acoustic ones.
All good questions to ask. I’ve considered them all and there’s no issues with my clutch, tilter, or spring. In terms of hitting hard, nope, I’m not a heavy hitter but interestingly it happens less if I do play a little harder, and happens more often when I’m playing quietly or gently which is my preference.
can you post a video or audio?
Does it do it on any preset, or just a specific one?
I accidentally activated something similar while clicking around in the software. I don’t know what to call everything yet as I’m just learning this software, but in the edit tab, I had turn on a toggle switch called “audition” on a particular hi hat articulation, and that made it so that articulation was triggering every time I hit the hi hat.
I received my cymbals/sensors, I’m experiencing this when playing a chick, is that what you’re experiencing too?
Yes, that’s close to what happens for me. I’m also getting unwanted behaviour when quickly opening and closing the hats while playing on the bow or the edge.
Seeing the pedal controller module, it shows the pedal tension indicator jumping back to the open position immediately after a chick even if I keep the pedal pressed down, causing the open sound to be heard, I assume the2 yellow lines are the point where a splash / chick is sound, not sure if that’s intended behavior or a bug.
I am experiencing the exact same thing
