Sorry to hear it’s still not working for you.
You can definitely assign a loop to a pad of a MIDI device instead, but it should also work correctly following the steps I outlined in your other post (Loops - Start / Stop) with the additional troubleshooting in this post.
Feel free to send an email to support@sunhou.se with a cell phone quality video of your setup showing the loop being triggered by your un-sensored acoustic snare
